When I first started out in internet marketing, I had no clue what I was doing.  I was thrown in every direction possible on how to make money online.  I had never heard of Google Adsense until one day I was reading some posts in an internet marketing forum.  I started to hear all the stories about how people were making thousands of dollars a month by just putting some ads on their websites.  This sounded to me to be the easiest way to make money online, but there are some tricks to it that you should know about.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.

-         You have to have a website that gets high traffic.  You can simply use the Google Keyword tool to find some excellent keywords in your market.  For example, if you wanted to build a fishing site, then put Fishing in the Keyword tool and see what high traffic keywords come up.  They can be product keywords, or anything that has to do with fishing.  Then you create a mini website that has information on your keyword and as soon as it is ranking in Google, you will start to get traffic and get clicks.

When you are able to create these mini sites in a short amount of time, you can eventually build yourself a virtual real estate empire that will become more valuable every time  your adsense clicks keep coming.  People are always selling websites on Flippa.com and their only source of income on these site is some adsense revenue.

Google Adsense can be a very profitable source of revenue, but don’t plan on making it your only source of income.  Until next time……

As I have taken this journey over the past two years, I have learned so much about Internet Marketing.  I always thought that the only way to make money online was to sell stuff on eBay.  Well, that used to be an easy way to make money, I remember selling old hot wheel cars on eBay and buying all my USC Trojan sports memorabilia from eBay too.  I never seemed to make any money, just ended up spending more than I earned.

I spent my first 8 years after I graduated from USC teaching middle school.  I taught 8th grade history and was involved with enhancing students learning, and I really loved it.  But, all good things come to an end.  I became a victim to API scores, and administrators who never really understood what the students needed, and that was a teacher who can teach them about life, making money, and survival in this crazy world.  When the pressures of test scores and teaching only what was on the test became the norm, I knew it was time for me to get out, so I ran.

I soon was caught in this crazy economy trying to start a new business.  Was it a mistake? Leaving teaching?  Should I have stuck around and ignored the politics just so I could collect a paycheck?  Well, if I did, I would go against everything that I believe.  You see, I don’t do things just to get a paycheck, my life’s calling is to help people become successful.  My hands were tied in teaching middle school, but now that I have the opportunity to teach adults how to do it, I know that my ability to teach will be much more appreciated.

I love to teach.  I am a lifetime learner, and since I love to learn, I also love to share my knowledge with people like yourself.  I like creating products that will help you make money and provide a nice life for yourself.  I WANT to do this because I love helping people.
